The last day of North America play in the 2016 International Champions Soccer Cup  bring a big game to the brand new US Bank stadium featuring  AC Milan vs Chelsea on Wednesday, August 3, 2016   with opening kick at 8:00PM.

This summer's tournament goes through August 13th when the final game is played in Europe between AC Milan and Celtic FC  after which the winner will be announced.

This summer, the third day of the 2016 International Champions Soccer Cup games  brings an Inter Milan (Serie A) vs. Bayern-Munich (Bundesliga) match up to Charlotte once on Saturday, July 30, 2016  at BOA Stadium. with a 5:00pm kickoff.

This year's tournament is organized as a points tournament, meaning at the end of the schedule, the team with the most points win the 2016 Champions Cup. Each game will be worth 3 points. A tie means a shoot out (no OT in ICC) and 2 points to the winner, 1 to the loser. This  summer, several games are also being played in Ireland, Scotland & Sweden.

The International Champions soccer tournament grew in 2015 to to more places around the world.  There are now  three parallel tournaments, the traditional round in the US, Europe and now ones in Australia and China.

For 2016  the ICC  tournament plays out July 23-August 3 in cities across the United States. This year many are played in college stadiums. In 2013 over 70,000 fans attended the final championship game in Miami with Real Madrid playing Chelsea Last year Manchester United took the Cup.

In 2016 the  teams are: FC Internazionale, Paris St. Germain, Real Madrid, FC Bayern-Munich, AC Milan, Chelsea,  and Liverpool, Barcelona, Leicester City, and Celtic FC.

The U.S. cities for 2016 are: Ann Arbor, Charlotte, Chicago, Columbus OH, E. Rutherford NJ, Minneapolis, Pasadena, and Santa Clara.
